    I bought a Lumix camera for my daughter for xmas. After about 6 weeks the touch screen on the camera started to peel away from the body of the camera. We returned it to Panasonic who refused to warranty the product claiming it had been damaged. There was no damage prior to shipping and the camera had barely been used. I will contact BBB and sue Panasonic in small claims court to hhonor their warranty and cause them as much of a headache and hassle as I can. I will never buy another Panasonic product as long as I live and will promote as much negative PR as I can possibly inflict. More...

    I purchased a panasonic DVR several years ago. It had a history of locking up when trying to do a timed recording. On Panasonic's web site, I found a supposed software patch. When I tried to install the fix the DVR locked up. It kept flashing "update" on the screen. After trying their customer service repeatedly, I gave up and sent it to them for repair.     As a Panasonic customer for many years, through my own family and my husbands, we decided to purchase a 50 inch, 720p, plasma Viera TV because of the quality we knew. It was a steal! The price was incredible, and looking at comparisons, the quality of the "lesser" 720p to the 1080i was impressive. We bring the tv home, all of our friends and family were impressed with the size and quality of the tv.     I sent my Lumix camera for warranty repair. I included the required information. I now get a letter addressed to someone who has a last name similar to mine asking for the required information. I called the number listed several times and always get "no one is available to take your call." I call the general Panasonic 800 support line and it is totally automated with no option that helps with my problem. Why would they give out a telephone number and then have no one to answer it?????     I tried to get support for my Panasonic dp-190 printer/scanner/fax. After being put in a queue and then speaking with another intermediary person (dispatch), I knew I was in trouble. They took an hour to get back to me to tell me they don't give support for the all-in-ones AT ALL! WHAT WHAT?! And they gave me a "local rep" number to call to attempt to fix the simple network issue I was experiences with the fax on my working machine!     I tried to order a DMC-TS1G digital camera directly from panaSonic.com. the order was placed on 30 May and the website said it would ship in 3-5 days. On the 13th of June it still hadn't shipped, so we called. After talking with customer service they said they didn't know why it hadn't shipped yet and a manager would call me back within 24 hours. As they promised a manager called on the 14th and promised the item would ship by the 15th.
